Water for a Thirsty Land: The Development of Irrigation in Central Oregon

Steve Lent, historian at the Bowman Museum and well-known author, will be sharing stories and photos of the history of Central Oregon’s water usage. From early canals, dams, and development of irrigation districts to the issues and conflicts of today’s competing interests for  this scarce resource, he will be enriching us all with new information on an old subject.
