TSHS Fireside Speaker-Elizabeth Woody

Join Three Sisters Historical Society for an evening with Elizabeth Woody, Executive Director of the Museum at Warm Springs. This talented woman is an artist, writer, former Poet Laureate of Oregon, Native American community leader, and educator. Her work focuses on the history of her ancestors (Wasco, Yakama and Navajo), the rich Pacific Northwest landscape and her experiences as a tribal member, woman and an American. She will be sharing a Native American history of Black Butte and some of her family’s history and stories.
