Three Sisters Historical Society & Museum

Detailed Information

Our Museum is now installed in the Maida Bailey building, the first Sisters library, located beside the Chamber of Commerce. Exhibits cover the Native American presence in the area, the homesteading era, the founding of Sisters, sheep herding and ranching,  prohibition, and the town before and after early fires, plus a selection of historical books for sale.

The Museum is open Fridays and Saturdays, 10AM to 4PM, and during September on Sundays, 11am-2pm, with the Farmers Market. We are presently planning four or five evening presentations in the fall and winter at various venues. Check out The Nugget announcements for upcoming places and times.  If you are interested in joining the Three Sisters Historical Society, which gives you a discount on our presentations and a chance to volunteer, come by the Sisters Museum or contact us at [email protected].  We are also on Facebook.
