Shared Future Coalition of Sisters

Detailed Information

We need your help to prevent youth substance use in Sisters!

Mission: Fostering a safe, healthy, and prosperous community

Vision: To reduce substance abuse by empowering youth and young adults to make safe, healthy and legal choices through community education, collaboration and policy

Here in Sisters Country we aspire for our youth to lead healthy, successful, and empowered lives without the interference of substances. It is our moral responsibility as a community to take action and prevent substance use through community education and collaboration, supporting positive youth development, ensuring access to mental health resources, and increasing parent knowledge and skills to prevent substance use.

Consider joining us at our next preventing meeting where you will connect with a lively group of Sisters community members devoted to youth substance use prevention.

Recurring Monthly Meeting: Third Friday of each month from 10:00-11:30am

Please contact Lyndi Petty, Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinator, Deschutes County Health Services, if you are interested in learning more about our work or want to get involved.
