STARS provides Sisters Country residents who need rides with a free medical transportation in Sisters, Bend and Redmond for non-emergency medical appointments: physicians, dental, vision, physical therapy, hearing, lab work and testing.
Rides are available Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
To schedule rides call STARS dispatch at 541-904-5545 on Tuesday or Thursday between 10:00am and 3:00pm. At least 48 hours advance notice is required.
STARS drivers are community members who generously donate their time so Sisters Country residents can get much needed help. All volunteers are screened and trained. All drivers continue to follow a CDC guided health protocol.
STARS is an Action Team operating under the fiscal sponsorship of Age Friendly Sisters Country a 501c3 non-profit.
