Please join the Sisters Community Garden for an uplifting and relaxing event with traditional Irish music band “The Ballybogs” at Music in the Garden, August 9, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, 15860 Barclay Dr, Sisters. Bring along your picnic dinner and lawn chair. Donations of non-perishable food items (Kiwanis Food Bank) or monetary gifts (Warfighter Outfitters) are appreciated.
Sisters Community Garden is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered with the State of Oregon and IRS. The Garden has 49 raised beds, plus two elevated beds at wheelchair height. There are six shared plots for fruit, herbs and flowers. The garden is located at 15860 Barclay Dr. just east of the Sisters Eagle Airport off of Camp Polk Rd. Our goal is to establish a beautiful garden that fosters community connections among Sisters, Oregon area residents. The garden serves as a gathering place for a mosaic of people, a venue for education, a farm-to-table resource for local food banks, and an opportunity to realize the benefits and pleasure derived from gardening. https://www.sisterscommunitygarden.org
